I'm new myself so i highly recommend getting The book on investing in real-estate With no and low money down here on bigger pockets it will tell you everything you need to know. 

I'm a Newbie also doing a lot of reading I can't start until March until I get my life str8 im very anxious 

I don't feel discouraged yet even tho I haven't taken any real steps yet but I'm learning. It's funny how these gurus email the **** out of you to convince you they are the one some times there schpiel is pretty good what I do is just study all the free secrets they send me. They say once you get your 1st one under your belt the sky is the limit Just keep trucking from there. I don't share what i want to do with no one just my honey cause I realize that everyone is negative in my life or they think they know it all yet don't have a dream or goal i just sit there in my day to day life listening to these negative know it alls and I feel I will be in a better place soon enough. So don't be discouraged just get yours. 

I'm new to investing but if I had the cash like that i would go put down on a couple houses instead

of buying 100% on one.

I'm embarrassed to say but not ashamed I've been on house arrest for the last 9mnths for child support

I have it straightened out now with a clear head on the path I wanna take I just have to wait till the 24th to get rolling. one concern i have is, is weather against me i live in Wisconsin.
