Trevor, awesome job on the triplex. Well done. Prices around here have certainly gone pretty high. Your uncle’s advice seems good. Never hurts to make offers. Keep letting people know what you are looking for. Start networking with commercial brokers in the area and consider joining NWREIA. Get in touch with wholesalers in the area and build a relationship with private lenders so you can act on off market deals. Occasionally I’ll see a cashflowing small multi hit the mls but they go fast! 

Hey, Kevin. I'm in Salem as well. I'd echo what Mike Nuss said above. Hearing a lot of investors wanting to get out of Oregon due to the new laws. While I understand their frustration it also creates opportunity for others but with that said definitely take the time to educate yourself. I'm planning on being at the Salem Roundtable REIA meeting Thursday night. That would be a good place to network and learn.

I'm investing in Salem area and would definitely attend a meetup. Sorry to have missed the first one!

Hello BP! I've done one Live and Flip but a recent divorce means I'm rebuilding my life at 42. I'm highly motivated to build wealth through buy and hold RE investments.
