Hi Charlie
I really don't think you need to be handy to get into the market because you can have other people do the work for you (contractors) , but you just have to be persistent and having a passion for this industry. I would say form an LLC is the best way to start out. Taking it slow is a good way to start out. Getting your first rental property taking a little time and getting the concept of what needs to be done and learning the ropes and then scaling down the road.
I would also recommend being a passive investor. leading your capital out to seasoned investor who are actively doing this process on a regular basis who know what to do and you just make a percentage on your money but also learning in the process.
If you have any other question let me know Charlie good luck on your endeavors.

Hello BP Investors!!! My partners and I are investors our selfs in sunny Jacksonville Florida. We currently have 17 SFH buy & hold rental properties that we acquired over 2 1/2 year period. Our plans is to keep scaling and expanding throughout Jacksonville. We keep all our property managing in house as well and have seasoned contractors that are set up for any maintenance issue.
We also have a high interest in multifamily unit that we would like to acquire as well. However we have a great rental portfolio that we built already we just looking for like mind investors who are willing to take this journey with us to the next level.
As I stated if you interested in collaborating with a company that has built this from the ground up all we need is keep it going and would like to invest and be a part of our venture please feel free to contact me any time. Thank your for your time.

Hi,
I have a question about the Refinancing part in the BRRRR. If I have a rental property with a mortgage on it and about 20% equity in the property, would I be able to refinance and pull cash out ?
Thanks
