Will there be another wholesaling event soon? I’m just starting my investment journey and I want to start with wholesaling.

Is anyone from this group available to answer questions or meetup if your in the DMV area???

Well, it seems like any program I’ve seen is going to cost thousands of dollars. Working with a mentor will also cost thousands. So, what I’m willing to pay seems to be a problem with any option I go with.

Any option I go with seems to claim they’ll help me avoid obstacles. I just wanna talk with someone who knows what they’re doing.

What’s a fair price to pay for real assistance?

Hello Bigger Pockets Community,

I'm new to investing and wholesaling, I've been learning a lot from biggerpockets and the information from a rich dad course I purchased late last year. This course and people I've talked to say the best way to learn investing is to find a mentor.

So, I wanted to know is there any wholesalers or real estate investors in the DMV area who have time to be a mentor? If so, I would be happy to help with your rental properties maintenance, lawn care or to help your business in some way.

Any investors who might be interested, if you respond to this I'll be happy to give my contact information to see what we can work out.

I'm asking because, at the moment, the meetup groups I've joined have been zoom meetings, so I haven't had a chance to network. Soon, I'm assuming this will change with restrictions lifting, but I want to see if I can speed-up my learning.

I’m looking for wholesale meetups that meet on Saturdays, anyone join any?

I found 2 that I’ve joined both in Virginia, but I want to find more so I can attend them every Saturday.

I’m in the Oxon Hill, Maryland area. Since Covid restrictions are still in place, most meetup groups just use zoom.

You really can join just about any of them. I’ve stuck with groups in the Baltimore, Maryland/Northern Virginia area just so I could actually meet with them when this blows over.

Have you found a meetup group to join yet??? I've joined a few, I think meeting with investors who've been doing what we're trying to do will cut our learning curve in half.

Is this an in person event or online? The reason why I ask is because I live in Maryland and it's hard to find any events in this area about REI on the weekend. Also, I want to learn wholesaling ( I'm a newbie).

Post: Anyone find success using minority-owned business grants?

Hello BP Community,

I've recently learned that there are government agencies that give minority-owned, women-owned and new small businesses grants to help start their businesses. Although, I've heard for some, your chance to apply for them ends May 31, 2021.

My question is: Has anyone on this site taken advantage of these grants to start or help their business? I want to apply for this since this money is basically being given away and the idea for being prosperous investing is to use OPM (other peoples money). But I need to start setting up my real estate business before I apply for any grants.

I'm asking anyone who has used these loans: whether you fit into anyone of these groups and took advantage of these grants.
