Thank you for the advice. It's greatly appreciated.  @Troy Gandee, @Chris Lounsbury, @Laura Shinkle

I am currently in the process of a career change and have a few questions regarding obtaining my real estate license. I am a resident of North Carolina but live on the border of North and South Carolina. I work offshore on an oil rig and work 3 week rotational work which means I am on the rig for 3 weeks and then off the rig for three weeks. I have visited every North Carolina real estate school in Charlotte and have been told that in order to meet the requirements I need to attend an in-class course which I cannot do because of my schedule. However, my understanding is that I can complete the course requirement online for South Carolina. My questions are as follows:

Do the online schools that offer the South Carolina real estate course meet the requirements necessary to sit for the exam? And if so, what is the best one?

Can I obtain the South Carolina real estate license as a non-resident and if so, can I then receive reciprocity from North Carolina and receive my license in that state as well?

Thanks in advance.

Josh
