Hi Sakis! I definitely would suggest calling around to a couple different property managers to get an understanding of how they operate and what you can expect from them in regards to communication. I'd be happy to chat with you further about property management as well if you'd like!

Hi Jake! I think it would be great for you to discuss your goals and expectations with a few property managers. They will be able to provide you with some insight on how they operate and why they have had success operating that way. I would suggest taking a look at reviews or getting references from those property management companies as well as finding out how many properties they currently manage. This information should give you a good understanding of their success working with other investors.

Both Michigan and Ohio have some great areas for investment properties! Two cities that I've seen investors have success in are Detroit and Columbus.

I would suggest interviewing different property management companies and checking out their reviews online first! You'll definitely want to find one that is a good fit for you. To confirm work was completed on the property, you can always ask for photos of the work that was done.

Hi Karen! You definitely will want to find a new property management company and work on getting the tenant's lease, ledger, and contact information. A new property manager can try to help with this during the transfer process as well. I have worked with other investors in similar situations so feel free to reach out to me directly if you have any other questions!

Hi Ayesha! A property manager can guide you in regards to what needs to be done to make your property a successful rental if you are interested in working with one. Here are a few tips to answer your question:

1. Make sure that you get the property registered as a rental with the city.

2. Screen applicants properly.

3. Complete maintenance requests in a timely manner once a tenant has moved in.

Feel free to reach out to me directly if you have any other questions!

Hi Mitchel! I would definitely consider putting a local team together first to assist you in finding the right property. A property management company, for example, can provide you with rental estimates and feedback on a given property as well as whether they think that property would be a successful investment based on their experience.

Hi Steve! I would definitely suggest talking to a property management company that can offer lower fees for your property. I'd be happy to chat with you about options and what would work best for you and your property specifically!

Hi there! The metro Detroit area is a great area to look into for an investment property, especially if you're planning to purchase long-term rentals.

Hi Julia! A property manager can definitely help and provide insight on what you can expect in regards to renting this property out. They also should be able to provide estimates for any repairs and have those completed so it is ready for someone to move in. Eastpointe is a great area for a rental property!
