Have you tried Legalzoom?

I have yet to try anything? Contracts have been a big issue in the past for me (as far as obtaining them).

I figured I'd ask on here and see if anyone could help me out in a quick manor.

Thanks for the link, I'll definitely check it out.

Welcome! I am also pretty new. I have about a year of reseach into REI but haven't closed a deal.

Just wanted to welcome you and I've heard if you stick with it, it can be very rewarding.

Good luck!

Hey everybody!

I'm looking for advice on how to obtain an assignment contract?

Is this something that can be vague at first (as long as it's legal and covers main points) or is it absolutely necessary to have a lawyer write one up and go that route?

Any Intel will be appreciated. Also any links or mock copies would be amazing. Thank you

Hey everyone, I'm getting back into Real Estate Investing.

I have made the life choice to officially make this my career.

I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice as far as a business plan layout goes? I have a vague rough draft that covers goals, building a real estate team, marketing and networking.

I'm wondering if there's anything else that's important and will keep me on track? Thanks

I will be taking a real estate class and getting my license in the next few months.

Everything I've heard has come back to two things... the right connections and knowledge.

Thank you! I will be going to real estate courses and also getting my real estate license in the next month or so as well.

Aaaaaall Aboard!

Geeez!

I need a vacation!

:)

I had some unfortunate things happen this past year which forced me to put this aside.

Then I got scared to hop back in since it's not an easy field to start if you're not knowledgeable.

Long story short though, I refuse to fail and I want to see this career path all the way through. Best choice I've made in a while, I finally wake up motivated again!

Great to have you on here. Thanks for posting. What type of REI are you hoping to get into?

I started researching wholesale, buy & hold, and fix & flip strategies over a year ago. Those are my main start up goals that I am getting into.

Right now I'm getting all my documents and contracts in place. Trying to find my buyers list so I can reconnect and getting all my ducks back in a row so I can start this again.

I had to take time away from starting up in the investment world. I am back full force though and am trying to get all my documents back in order. Time to get the first house under contract!

Feels so good to be back!

@Charlie Fitzgerald how can I tell if the comparables have a foundation or not? This seller has it on a Short Sale for more than what the comps in the neighborhood are. More specifically it's put up for $129,900 as a short sale but the average comp in the neighborhood is valued at around $110,000 to $120,000.
