Love this story! Taking a leap at 21 and turning a fixer-upper into a solid rental is really impressive. Sounds like you learned a ton along the way.

Hi Otis! Partnering with someone is a great way to scale your business, but it's important to have a clear strategy and solid legal framework. Consider setting up an LLC with an operating agreement that outlines roles, responsibilities, profit splits, and exit strategies. Clear communication and aligned goals are key. Best of Luck!

Hi John! Sounds like you’ve built an amazing opportunity with your cabin project. Turning your Florida home into a short-term rental could give you steady cash flow and help fund the builds. You might also be able to leverage its equity to keep both investments working for you.

Hi Matt! It’s great that you’re thinking strategically about where to relocate. If short-term rentals are on your radar, markets with strong tourism and year-round demand are key. Places like Phoenix, parts of Florida, and certain areas in Texas have been hot for both STRs and long-term rentals. Affordability can be tricky, but secondary markets near larger metro areas often offer a good balance.

Hi Elizabeth! Analysis paralysis is common for many newbie investors. The fact that you’re ready to take action is already a big step forward. With $20K, you’ve got options. You could look into house hacking a small multifamily property or partnering with other investors on a deal to learn while being involved. Best of luck!
