I am new to the market of Jonesboro Arkansas. Looking for near by meet ups. When is the next meet up being hosted by y'all ?

@Marc Griner Arkansas

I found a quad Plex that someone is wanting to sell for $160,000 around here quad Plexes are selling for around 250,000. It is in good shape but the reason it is so low is because that neighborhood has bad tenets. The person that owns it rented it out and made a bad name for it because of who he rents it to. There are 4 quad plexes in this area that are all like that but they are in good shape. is it possible that I can buy one and turn it into an area for only good tenants

There are no meet up groups where I am moving to but I also don’t own any rental property. I am in the process of evaluating deals daily to find my first property but I would still like to host one of those meet up groups. For someone like me who does not have a ton of real estate experience how can I host an event like this without wasting other experienced investors time? I have several people who are interested in starting a group like this. I have made several phone calls to other investors in that area and they all say they would love to see a meet up group started but no one is taking initiative to start it. I have an opportunity to start it myself what is some advice on hosting a meet up event

@Brandon King well definitely. It’s open invitations. Great networking opportunity for all investors in that area

@Josi Gass I’m moving up to Jonesboro by the end of this week. I’m moving from Louisiana. I wouldn’t mind driving to Little Rock once a month for a meet up group. I could do that and then meet in Jonesboro twice a month since that’s where I’ll be living. Either way I’m in the process of learning how to do an event like that, that would be valuable for everyone that attended. I’m sure Brandon Turner has a podcast or webinar that explains how to do an event. I’m going to look into what he has
