@Julie McCoy

Hi Julie. I have 13 listings and OwnerRez hits me for every one of them.

Hi Folks

I am taking a long hard look at my monthly subscription costs paid out to tools. One of the tools I subscribe to is OwnerRez. I haven’t found much utility with it. The only distinct feature it gives me is a website that was easy to get a basic set up. To make the web site visible I would need to pay someone to finish it out and get it to show up in the search engines. I am wondering what the group’s opinion is of whether a stand alone website is worth it. OwnerRez is hitting me for $80/month.

Thanks a million!

Karen

@Chuck Kramer  great posts. Can you give me the name of the Facebook group? And I second your thoughts on self management. Sure beats paying 40% to Dollywood.

@Eric P. I buy Zinnus off Amazon. Guests love them and they are very reasonably priced. You can ship them to the unit to avoid having to move them. I. Some cities Amazon also offers mattress removal.

Totally agree. It’s about 8-10k to furnish and decorate.

Stay away from Orbirental to push to HA. I went to them for that very reason. Their air BnB integration broke my listings during peak ski season and they would not fix it.  There is no human you can talk to. I lost 6K in bookings due to a mysterious auto decline that Orbirental was driving. Orbirental is the worst.

@David Hayes

I use both Proper and CBIZ.  Both are pretty good. If you are living in the property and renting rooms try Wolf Innkeepers insurance.
