So multiple folks seem dissatisfied by NREIG, however I do not see any mentions of alternate insurance providers either? Any investor friendly options outside of NREIG, with lower deductibles ($500-750) and reasonable premiums?

John, You should contact an independent agent. Preferably one that has multiple markets and handles both commercial policies and personal policies. In the flip situation, you often start with a Renovation Buildiers Risk and Liability coverage. Once you complete the project, depending on whether or not you will be keeping the property, it will go to a vacant dwelling or a Dwelling/Fire policy (sometimes called a Landlord policy). The Builders Risk is traditionally a commercial policy while the Dwelling Fire is a Personal policy.

Thanks John for the info. Let me know if you would like to give me some quotes - you can PM me

I am starting to rehab a house in the coming weeks. Looking to connect with insurance agents and get some quotes. Open to a multi-property quote as well (2 other homes that are rentals currently).
