Hi @Chad Gaither, I'm hosting a Bigger Pockets South Los Angeles meeting this Saturday, August 26th at 10 AM if you're interested in attending. We're going to discuss the different neighborhoods of South LA, the current and future development projects in South LA and also address any questions that participants have. I'll include the information below and if you're interested, feel free to come and meet other investors in the area!  (It's also open to other people if anyone else reads this and wants to come!)

Hi SoCal members, I've been getting some PMs with some confusion about the meeting date so I just wanted to clarify - We are meeting NEXT SATURDAY on August 26th. @Viviana Ramirez Hi Viviana! Pleasure to meet you, I created a meeting and details are located above in this post and I've also created another post "South Los Angeles Meeting". I'll research if there's a more savvy method to create a calendar event on BP.  I'm requesting all interested individuals PM their email address to me so I can send them meeting updates and South LA RE related articles as well. 

I read that California recently started a program to tackle narcotics dealers & gang members by suing the landlords who house the criminal activity.  That's a quick way get a landlord to clean up their act =]

I'll be emailing some articles regarding South Los Angeles Real Estate to provide more knowledge about the current market and development changes.
