Mike Makkar, if you don't mind me asking, what banks? I'm in the area, but not necessarily in the portfolio market yet.

Welcome to BP! This site is invaluable. The people on here maker it so through their willingness to listen, offer help, and even act as a sounding board. Chances are someone on here has experienced whatever problem or success you're facing.

Side note, I'm an import to the area from West Texas. When I got here, I remember finding the term North Texas as funny. It didn't take me very long to realize everybody bases North Texas, East Texas, etc on where they are located in reference to Dallas!

Thanks for the replies! I had heard about Justin State Bank, but haven't done any business with them yet.

Dallas - Fort Worth area to be specific. I'm currently with WF and have a BLOC with them for 20k. I really don't hate Wells, but I wanted to see if the BP community has any other suggestions.

I saw another post where a member was asking specific questions regarding using QuickBooks to track rehab budgets. I didn't want to jack his thread, but I did want to see what type(s) of software y'all are using. I am inclined to use QB, but not quite sure the best way to set it up to track 6+ projects. What other solutions are out there?

I know the two biggest boys on the block are New Western and Net Worth, but does anyone have any connections with some of the other wholesalers operating in the area?

i would suggest Kevin Hackbart with 10/10 Construction. He does stuff like that all over the state but is based in the Dallas / Fort Worth area.
