Which one is better in the long run?

Glad I read this. I've also seen tons of signs all over the place in Arizona and California .. I legit thought it was an investor just wanting someone to do their dirty work and paying them a cut.. not once did I think it was gonna be a pay to learn thing...

Let's start with a hypothetical scenario I purchase a house at 213k with 20% down The loan was 170k 30 years fixed The loan with interest is at 307k After remodeling the house it's now worth 265k If I decide to sell the house for 265k am I able to do so as long as the 170k gets paid back or am I not able to because I need to pay back loan with interest?

I'm closing on my second home in a couple of days my lender told me after 12 months I can rent it out. I'd say you talk to your lender to make sure you're good

If i had a grower renting my unit I'd collect free weed every month 😉

Is it normal and ok to buy a home as a "secondary home" and live in it for a year then rent out for the remainder of the time?

Chris Mason yea I took the loss I asked about buying the rate down from 4.375 to 4.25 using the leftover money but the total cost to do that would of been around $1,900. Thanks for your info very helpful!

But didn't Arizona just pass a law this year that makes hosting legal? Do state laws trump hoa rules?

Hi everyone 

Im in the process of closing on a SFH

the purchase price is 213k with 20% down

The seller concession was $6065 to cover closing costs there is $419 left over due to the "limit im allowed to receive" and my lender said i have to take that loss and theres no way i can get that money. 

is this really how the lending process works? 

do i really have to take that loss or is there a way i can get that money from the seller?
