Great podcast! Thanks Brad Dantonio and BP. I love the idea of fewer properties and higher income per property due to having them paid off. I wish we would have heard more specifics about how he saved up that much cash.

Have you seen this one? Not sure if it's exactly what you need.  http://clerkpublicrecords.scgov.net/RealEstate/SearchEntry.aspx

Maybe that length of residence is too short for that much equity?

For delinquent property taxes

Durham County

http://www.ustaxdata.com/nc/durham/durhampolicy.cf...

Johnston County

https://taxpay.johnstonnc.com/TaxPayOnline/prod/ -- click the Tax Bills Search, then the middle dropdown menu has a Show Delinquent Bills options

Thank you @Kim Handelman! Lots of valuable info for a newb like me and entertaining to read :)

I recently wrote a program to scrape property info from public records and a few other data sources. If anybody's interested in that type of thing feel free to PM me.

Wouldn't mail to the address of the deceased be forwarded to administrators?

I would start closer to $150 just to get started and better gauge where he's at in perceived value. Ask to see his website's analytics to know how many visitors this site is bringing. If he only sold one property last year obviously this domain isn't making him rich. Also, if you're at all interested in SEO, check the domain's history in archive.org - make sure it wasn't formerly used by any spammy looking sites, if so then Google may already hate it.

Unfortunately I will have to miss this one as well. Looking forward to the next opportunity.
