@Marshall Montazeri we are looking into something similar and located in LA County. I’m new to this type of investment and am having a hard time finding permit requirements. I have heard you need a structure even for open storage but cannot find that info on the county sites. Also what hurdles have you run into?!?! As far as your financing concerns are you can pm me. I am working with a developer and can ask him for you. I too have been told that they won’t finance land/construction projects however I’ve been told their are loopholes. As for me I am using investors since construction loans are costly. I would love to talk more to brainstorm ideas
