I am a bit biased since I am a Realtor; but, a GOOD Realtor is worth their weight in gold. They will be able to navigate you through the process of buying and selling, will be up to date on laws and contract information for your area, and will generally be an asset in your property search with their area knowledge.
Hope this helps!

A thousand times:o) It all depends on the emotional state of mind of the seller. It may be best to "watch" this one, @Matthew MacDonald to see how the price goes.

The fact of the matter is we, as real estate professionals, are in the customer service industry. To me, not calling back a potential buyer is an unacceptable business practice. I like to think there are those Real Estate professionals and then there are the ones who know the value of customer service. @Arnie Guida - I am sorry you experienced a Real Estate professional that doesn't know they meaning of customer service.
