Post: KnoxREIA - What to do Before, During and After an Auction

The market in Knoxville is strong, competitive and still growing. At this KnoxREIA meeting the focus will be on how to use the obvious - a property to be sold at Auction - to build a better marketing campaign and find new opportunities.

Auction.com will give an overview of what to do Before, During and After the auction. They will also do a mock auction (or a real one if someone brings a property to sell).

Regardless of your level of experience this will be a fun meeting.

@Anudeep Yapala Knoxville is a strong, growing market and all of the areas you are interested in are very popular. Do you have any specific criteria for your investments?

@Len Grosso I am a broker and active investor in this area. In addition, the Knoxville Real Estate Investors - KnoxREIA - has many investors, contractors, agents and wholesalers as members. If you can provide some additional information as to your requirements, I can be more specific in my recommendations.

Separately, a question about the fires in California. I have family from Santa Rosa. Although, their home wasn't harmed by the fires, they have decided to sell - both for health reasons and the prospects of future fires. Do you think most of the 6,000+ houses and business which were destroyed will be permitted to rebuild?

@Derek Tellier thank you for the kind words about KnoxREIA.com and especially about joining as a member. @Anthony Hummel we never know how many will make ti to a specific meeting but tonight there are over 35 pre-registered - probably 55-85 will attend - with about 80% being active investors. At our meetings it is always better to ask questions before you show what you have under contract.

The active investors will help you craft a better offering. The June meeting had 62 people representing  over 1,500 rental doors - about $100,000.000 in market value. If you can not learn from networking with this group, you are probably not cut out for real estate investing.

Hope to see you on Tuesday.

@Shawn Johnson - There are always many wholesalers and investors at the monthly meeting of the Knoxville Real Estate Investors. There is a fee to attend but it will be a good place for you to start your education.
