Hey Pawan Johar o, I'm looking to earn some side income. I just moved to Vancouver from Victoria, and I'm going to be working 2-3 jobs soon. I'd like to add something hard-hitting like real estate to pay off debt and build up to my dream of owning an island in the Philippines ($3-5M USD). Will send you a PM now. Hey Ed Chandler , thanks!! I just checked them out and will have a listen :) they look phenomenal! Hey Tristan McGowan , great to have you on the thread! I lived in LA for a few months while I was attending seminars and dancing professionally. I met him at one of the seminars. One day he posted that he was looking for people to get involved with his real estate flipping, I asked if I could get involved, and he said yes! I think the other way to get mentors would be to network locally. It would also be more convenient to learn, since it's an immersive type of learning experience I've heard. Gotta check out properties, etc.

I'm a noob to real estate. My mentor in LA told me to look for people who flip properties in Vancouver. Any advice on getting started? Anything helps. I'm still not sure what the process is to find and flip properties. I'm basically at the level where it's like, "Oh hey a cheap, run-down building! I could make it nice and sell it for more!" Is there more to it? And how would I wholesale houses instead? Blessings, Kris

I am a noob to real estate. One of my major goals is to be able to own and develop farmland and resorts in the Philippines. I live in and am a citizen of Canada. Where would be a good place to start my research on finding properties over there? Development laws? I Googled a lot, found some islands and lots that look amazing. Just want to know if there's anything else out there, and if some might be suspicious websites and which are legit. Any help would be very appreciated. Thank you!

Hey everyone, Very excited to be on here, I'm learning a ton just from the free materials from signing up. I'm new to real estate, 22 years old, and want to learn it all. My mentor in LA told me to look for opportunities to flip houses and people who buy houses in cash. How would I go about this? Should I even be flipping, or should I rent out? I'm also pretty sure the new foreign tax law has devastated a lot of pending deals. So how does that affect us? Sorry, a lot of questions on my mind right now. Thanks for all your help!

Hey everyone, Super excited to be on this forum. My mentor recommended it to me, and considering he's in the States and I'm in Canada, he told me to learn from and network with people on here. My goals are to be financially stable in the short term, to own property in the US (and live there), and to own and develop real estate in the Philippines including farmland and commercial properties. I'm really eager to learn all I can, so I'm grateful for such a great site. Been a member for 20 minutes and I'm pretty impressed about the quality so far. Kris
