How does the local property tax indentity determine property type and value? Is there depreciation figured? Can this used in a 1031 exchange? How long should hold this investment.

I do understand how they work and I was looking at Ryans reply on someone elses that was starting to do those and the title company needs to work with those so i need to follow there instructions. I also know its better to let both buyer and seller aware on the first few until i build up investor base. i'll keep u informed. i have done a few before on lots but to my self with my companies.

Dee it looks like you know what your doing and i would like to know more about wholeselling. I live Belton Texas and see a opportunity in my area. Can you help with process of wholeselling? I am also a R E broker and have built homes and developed land. Looking for different field in the real estate industry. Thanks.

Can anyone help with a simple process of wholeselling? Pitfalls, forms, successes, etc. This side of real estate is untapped in my market place near the Fort Hood Army base.

Thank you Wesley for the link to biggerpockets.com and I look forward to learn, yurn and earn more. I will ask and offer advise to those who will listen. I do not have an investment club but would be interested to know the keep it simple way of forming. My background is homebuilding, land development and real estate brokerage. I'll be watching. :shock:
