Hi @Jerry Padilla, thank you for your response. I asked this question because I have read of scenarios where people purchased duplexes using FHA but only lived at the property for roughly 50% of the time while renting out the other unit. Thanks for clarifying.

Can I use an FHA Loan to buy a multi-family as owner-occupied but only live in one of the units on weekends? Please let me know your experiences or provide any insight on this. Thanks

Thank you all for your responses. The property will not be owner occupied and already has tenants. I will continue to explore options with some local lenders. Very helpful information.
