Hi Som. With Innago, you set up the information you would like to collect on the application. I held an open house where I collected the email addresses of everyone who attended. From there I sent them an invitation to apply via Innago. They input all their information and pay for the screening. You can require credit or background or both. Be sure to put your minimum qualifications in a few different places. I gave each open house attendee a handout, I also posted the min qual on the rental listing (Innago now does this as well!) and I put the qualifications on the email invitation. Knowing your minimum qualifications they can then decide if they want to apply.

I use Innago for everything and am very happy with this software. It's designed for small to medium-sized portfolios and includes everything you need to lease a property (application, screening, even online lease signing of your own lease). After your property is leased, you can collect rent payments, communicate with tenants and track maintenance requests. When I first began using Innago, I had questions and the customer service was amazing.

We are using Innago and it is powerful. Through this software you can screen tenants, communicate, sign your lease agreement and other documents, track and receive rent payments, manage maintenance requests and all for a price to the landlord of $0. AND, the customer support is fantastic!

We are currently in process with BBVA Compass (in Dallas) for a HELOC on our primary. In researching this product I also spoke with Regions Bank (no contact info) and In Touch Credit Union (Priya), both offer HELOCs, just not sure if they will do it in investment properties.

Hi Deb. I am looking primarily in Grayson, Collin and Denton Counties. Growth is trending North, properties are selling fast and there have been a few that I have analyzed that meet our investment parameters. Hopefully our research is steering us in the right direction!
