In addition to looking in meetup you can look here on BP as well. Click on the resources tab on the top of your page, REI resources then under assorted resources there's an option for local REI clubs.

You will most likely need get a real estate agent involved who is familiar with the not so short process. Some banks will only talk with a broker.  You would need a written purchase agreement that will need to be sent to the bank for review to get the process started.

Are you referring to a Real Estate license? I got mine when I started rehabbing houses to save on the commissions plus access to the MLS for comps etc. There are monthly, quarterly and yearly fees to consider when getting your RE license but are well worth the costs when doing repeat business.

Stoves and dishwashers are usually considered attached to the property. It will depend on what exactly the sale agreement specifies.

Hi Tamara, there are several podcasts, forum threads and resources here on BP. If you search wholesaling on the top part of the page you'll pull up everything BP has to offer including how to find properties without MLS access.

I would try the county assessor office of where the property is located- they have to be sending a tax bill somewhere.

I'm not located in your state however I would consider you a licensee if your license had been activated by a broker.

You can search for local REI clubs here on BP. Go to resources tab on top, REI Resources, then under assorted resources choose local REI clubs. Meetup also has a search function that should allow you to search REI related clubs in your area based on your zip code.

You usually cannot wholesale a shortsale. Once your offer is accepted, most banks will have you sign an addendum stating the contract is non transferable.
