BPO came @ $330K. My last offer (asking for zero cc) was $291K or a bit more than 88% of the BPO . In addition, this property was involved in a house fire back in 07.
Got a message late last nite from the negotiator saying she is closing the file because the offer was insuficient.
Do you guys have any idea or suggestion where this negotiator is comming from?
Thank you

I have a SS in the final stages with BOA (my offer, B). There is not enough spread for a double, HML, etc. I do have a higher offer (C) on stand by to send to BOA. At this time I am just collecting a LM fee. When and how should I forward the higher offer to BOA so we don't start the process all over again? Should I wait until my offer gets accepted and then tell the negotiator the buyer walked however, we have another higher offer to present?
Thank you

Hi Rob,

This sounds too easy......So, you work the short sale get the approval then try to buy the note for that amount? What's your approach with the lenders and how receptive are they in selling the note?

I am involved with a SS that is scheduled for auction in a few days. I just found out a drive by BPO was already done. My intention was to meet the BPO Agent at the property and show him the fire report/ insurance docs, etc in order to bring the value down but this thought went down the drain........Now Chase is looking at a low offer and a BPO that I have no idea what came at and I am affraid they will not stop the sale. Any ideas of what to do next?
Thank you and Happy Holidays!!!!
