@Matthew Olszak Totally agree with you dude. My partner put me on mojo dialer 🔥. I remember my very first cold call I got chewed and spit out by the owner and that just pushed me to do it more. I do the same, if they’re rude I hang up, move on, sure builds very thick skin for sure imo and I feel like it helps a lot especially representing a client and protecting their best interest. I’ve made several connections/ relationships in my area so yes very rewarding. Door knocking grueling but taught me a lot. I take my cold calls from others too, just to see how they do it and that’s how I got a little more experience too lol.
Keep at though bro 😎 🔥🔥

@Peter Anderson Yeah, I narrow down my lists. I don’t do high high volume calls, prefer to know the market in a certain area and what’s selling, what’s happening around the area, etc. Than just say hello, are you considering sell? …..their response… if not are you looking to buy? If I see an owner who owns majority 80s buildings 10-20 units, got not gonna say are you looking for a 6-8 units 60s built.

@Max Gradowitz Honestly, I don't think anyone enjoys it. Not even me, but needs to be done. Phone weighing a lot after. Feel like for newer agents just have to do it for a while and comes to a point where you don't really need to anymore. How do you receive business? Door knocking, referrals, social media?

Hold up, so you're coming at me all like this but I'm suppose to take it? Bro, you swear. You're giving me **** so I'm giving you **** back. Explain to me why I should let myself be talked in a manner like this when you know what you got yourself into in the first place. That's how this business is whether you like it or not. You're clearly saying you choose be impolite to people doing their jobs lmao. Damn, it's your world and we just living in it huh.

@Allen B. aye bro, if you rage out then that's not our problem. That's the best part of real estate, you can choose who you want to work with or not. I'm not going to be rude to the owners, but if they come at me like that then I'll go back at them the same way.

@Allen B. Well, my bad for not being more direct and saying "from an agents perspective".

I just wanted to know people's thoughts on cold-calling. How's it going for you guys? If you're calling up an owner, how do you start it off?
