    I understand what you're saying. I have, over the 15 years of my flirting with real estate investing, paid for several thousands of dollars for education. I have yet to find something as powerful as Bigger Pockets. The community support, knowledge, and ability to get a question asked from multiple sources is an amazing thing. Plus, from what I've found, there is true knowledge to be gained from this site, not just the promise of knowledge - "if you get the next course for a one time low price of $997". 

    Dive in with the resources listed above, poke around the site, and most importantly, get involved. It's ALL about relationships.

My name is Mace'-o and I am a newbie in SE Massachusetts. I am interested in properties between the triangle of Fall River, Taunton, and Plymouth. I am looking at MFR (duplexes and triplexes) and SFR to first and foremost fix and flip, then build my portfolio with buy and holds, and as I build my experience to wholesale as well.

   I would love to offer my "boots on the ground" to those who are more experienced to increase my knowledge of how to play this game. 

    Check out my profile for more detail, but the short version is: I was a Realtor/Loan Officer in HI between 2004-2006, so I understand that aspect. I have also been a carpenter for 8+ years experience over a span of a decade and a half, so I have more than a basic understanding of evaluating the condition of a property.
