Hi Dan, I love designing buildings, not so much the business of architecture. We add energy saving features to our designs but not zero energy net construction because most clients don't want to spend the money on it, even if they'll achieve savings later on and help the environment. As I sad, the business part of architecture is not pretty.

Can anyone recommend a General Contractor that works with investors in the Baltimore, MD area. I am trying to avoid the overpriced, advantage takers opportunists. Thank you

Hello Everyone, I am and architect from Los Angeles. The Real Estate market in LA is getting prohibitive for a small investor like me and so I have been researching out of state markets. I find Baltimore, MD interesting and would like to buy a single family house to flip in the coming months. Since I don't live there, I'd like to connect with a local real estate professional specializing in foreclosures and auctions, and also a small general contractor that works with investors. Any advice and or recommendation is greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi David, I live in Los Angeles and enjoy flipping houses, but the market here in LA is pushing me out. I was thinking about investing in Baltimore after doing an extensive research. Maybe you and I can talk. I would like to have someone knowledgeable to go see potential properties and evaluate their condition and marketability. Let me know if that picks your interest. Best of luck to you in any case.
