Hey BP!

I am currently working to become a real estate investor. I came across Bigger Pockets and was instantly intrigued, not only by the way they explained real estate investing to a newbie, but by the challenge it can create creatively and mentally. I fell in love with the fact that I could be a huge asset to my community by creating more affordable housing opportunities and that is what drives me to continue on with this career path.
I am actively working on raising my credit score and my personal savings so that I can get a head start on financing. I have also signed up to receive email alerts on houses that become available in the market.
I am anxious and ready to begin pursuing this goal, starting with my grandmothers house. She is currently behind on her mortgage (she also plans to move out within the next year) and my wish is to help pay it off in some way, obtain her house and rent it out. After that, I would like to flip and possibly manage multi-family homes, single family homes and apartments.

Any help/advice that could help me along this journey (especially when it comes to financing) is welcome and appreciated!
