@Caryn Zallnick open an LLC to rent the unit as a LTR and have the LLC (which you would still own) run the operations of the STR. It's like you rent to yourself for benefits on both ends: refi with a stable tenant for the lender Long term and higher revenues with STR.

@Sandy Hu what are the rules/regulations in JT to have a main home and a tiny home on wheels in the same single family lot and Airbnb both for short term rental income? This post stuck out to me as I’m trying to do something similar as i already have contacts to tiny home builders. Thanks!

Bill 3088 passed in the California State Legislature on Monday at 10PM to extend the statewide COVID eviction moratorium. For those that own mobile home parks in CA, how has COVID impacted your ability to enforce rents and/or evict? Do you see the moratorium applying to Mobile Home Parks differently than multi-family?
