Controlling votes is done independently of party. The democrats do it through the methods "WIC or food stamps or unions or welfare or unemployment or social security or healthcare etc", And the republicans (and some democrats)control votes by promising no taxes, then taxing us indirectly with inflation via the federal reserve. Then there is how the banking cartel portion of the federal reserve controls votes. There is no free market until the public is educated enough to vote for someone like Ron Paul so we can dismantle the federal reserve system.

I think everyone should have of copy of "The Creature from Jekyll Island" Although, since it is out of print (hmm), here the author lays it out nicely in this you tube series.

Why not just integrate online dating features while we're at it, Tim. Perhaps a list of canned questions to select from so we can send one to a hottie. For example, a woman catches your eye in a 50% rule thread - she's located right between MikeOH and Will arguing - and you randomly send her:

"If you were a super hero what would your super power be?"

I like him. He scares me, but in a good way.
Though he does have a vested interest in scaring me. Though the people he is influenced by to not.

Two thumbs up.

According to the economists I subscribe to the only way out of this is:

Dow = 5000
Real Estate another 20% + drop
Unemployment 10-15%

The only way to prevent that big of a bust from happening is to prevent that big of a bubble in the first place.

Drop me a line when you make that midwest trip. We can hit the range so you can try out a few toys that California won't let you have.

That would be cool. But I will need a tutorial. I haven't picked up one of those since summer camp/5th grade.

I shared Tim's sentiment:

"Ummm...ok. i just had lunch with another forumite today that I haven't always agreed with and we had a blast. "

I had a blast.

Anyone who gets too negative with an opposing view needs to look inward. Myself included. There is no ideology without flaws, They all have them. Opposing views are great. The only perfection is how perfectly imperfect every ideology is.

I forgot that one quote, it's a good one, and feels like it almost applies here:

"If I have a partner that I always agree with then I don't need a partner" Something along those lines.

As far as election drama. That's just fun. I am glad flipper got it going. I probably wouldn't have had lunch with Tim (with the opposing view) if flipper didn't start the fun. And I look forward to having lunch again.

Yes, now that the election is over it's back to crunching numbers and getting an acquisition rush instead of a drama rush.

But either way, self awareness is beneficial to practice for all.

Hey Tim Great to meet you, too!
From real estate, to business ideas, to guns and hunting...I enjoyed all our conversations. I am definitely down for meeting up again next time you fly out. I actually ended up at the Grove later that night, to see the new James Bond movie.

The air quality is horrible today from the fires, even by the beach. I too hope anyone living near fire terrain comes out of this unscathed.

I'll have to keep SmashBurger in mind next time I in Colorado. That looks good.
