I am still open to this idea. I live in Fairburn, GA but with enough notice, I could attend any meet up.

I would definitely pay to use it if it came from Bigger Pockets. I'm already considering getting a Pro account and this would definitely coax me in.

Hello Christina,
I've had an investment property in Columbus for 3 years now. I've been very interested in joining some kind of meet up for a while now but have not been able to find anyone else interested in the idea. I am very interested in meeting with other investors in the area in order to network.

Thank you all for the feed back. I'm currently in the process of lining up some lenders. I currently have a private lender who I'm sure will back me. But have to do an evaluation on how much I'd be willing to spend. The auction is next Tuesday so I do have a couple days to figure this out. I'll keep you all posted. Thanks again.

Hey Eddie T.
We're still trying to contact them but no response as of yet. I'm leaning towards just going to the auction. My only draw back is that property manager has been listed on the notice and Ive read somewhere that if the tenant's agency is listed, it could mean immediate eviction when the property is sold.

So this past saturday, my girlfriend and I received a sign posted in the front yard of the house we're renting from. It reads: "Notice Of Levy On Land, State Of Georgia, City Of Fairburn" and goes on to list the parcel of land. It then advises that the property will be sold in an auction to satisfy the outstabting property taxes. We have contacted the property manager in order to get a hold of the owner but to no success. My question is, what should I do to try and obtain this property if it goes to auction in about a weeks time. Any and all thoughts are very appreciated.

I completely, and wholeheartedly support this idea. I currently have a rental property in the Columbus, GA area that I've been trying to build a team of contractors for. I would be very much so interested in networking with fellow investors, contractors, bankers, real estate lawyers, etc. Count me in!!!
