Welcome to BP!  I too am new here and live in central FL.  My fiance and I are looking to start with rental properties in the area within a year.  I'm in the learning phase now, also trying to learn this market.

@Erin Legler It's growing on me!  I actually just drove through the Baldwin Park area for the first time the other day, very nice.  

I'd love to get together if you don't mind talking with someone who's yet to buy their first property :)  I'll buy you some pizza for any tips you might have!

@Erin Legler I just moved from Delray Beach and really miss it!  It's a great up and coming place, probably great to invest in.  I always felt safe where we were just west of 95 in a town home community called Spanish Wells.  You get a fenced in porch and some good areas for dogs outside.
