Has anyone done business with www.amplifymybusiness.com? They appear to be a lead generation company that only gets paid when you close.

I believe the guru investing workshop being discussed in this thread is Than Merrill's real estate investing 3 day wokshop promoted by Fortune Builders.  I recently attended a 3 day workshop that was exactly like the ones described above.  The speaker at this shop was an ex army chaplain Lee Escobar.  Like it was mentioned above during day 2 it was pitched very hard to join the Mastery program for $50K for full immersion.  The lowest entry was $19K.  Now don't get me wrong, what was taught wasn't a bunch of BS.  It was very informative and entertaining at the same time.  I learned more about real estate investing in that 3 days than I ever knew.  They did teach you the steps to buy, rehab, resell properties.  Commercial and buy and hold for passive income strategies.  How to find the different ways for funding deals etc etc.  They didn't just BS you thru the rest of the weekend when it became clear that you didn't get into Mastery.  It then became focused on the up coming Monday how we should take what we learned and begin implementing and not to be discouraged just because we didn't get into Mastery.  A few days later I was contacted by a rep and asked again if later on I might be able to come up with at least $500 to start some small portion, or a more strategy focused mastery program instead of full immersion.  When it became clear to him I wasn't going to do it but was still extremely interested in moving forward with starting a career in real estate investing I was recommended lots of books I could download and steps I should take to begin my journey on my own.  The guy didn't just say oh well sorry to hear that good luck and goodbye.  I guess what I am saying here is I think they were genuine people and there are some gurus out there that are legit.  You just have to be aware there are some snakeoil salesmen out there.  I am so glad I found Bigger Pockets afterwards because it is so helpful to have the networking and forums and webinars and everything else you can find here on this site for thousands of $$$ less here. I am still moving forward with starting my own business and putting in the work and research for education needed to make it work.
