Hey Everyone,
I'm going to be landing in Austin Tuesday around noon. I was thinking maybe Wednesday, or Thursday evening after 5pm I could meet some of you at a place downtown by the convention center. I thought it would be more fun to have a imprompt wholesaler/investor meetup. I hear there's some good places on 6th or Rainy st. Any suggestions?

Thanks guys! I don't know the whole conference schedule just yet, but I'm sure there will be a morning, lunch, evening where I'll have some free time. I'll get back to ya!

Other investors too. Doesn't have to be a wholesaler. I'm just more familiar with wholesaling in my market. Let me know if you want to do dinner or something. I

Hey guys,
I'll be in Austin for an IT Convention (SpiceWorld 2016! Yeah, you've probably heard of it if you're around there) Nov 1-Nov 4th and while I'm there I wanted to hang out with some real estate people to discuss wholesaling or real estate in general.
Any REIAs meeting during that time?
Post: 560 leads from old list aren't dupes on new list?

Here's my dilemma...
I've mailed to this Absentee list 5 times. My response rate has dropped off significantly. I just bought a new Absentee list and compared it to my old list (scrubbed from all responses so just those who haven't responded remain) and I kind of expected all but maybe 40-50 out of the 1300ish old list to be dupes on the new list... but to my surprise there were 560 that weren't on my new list that were still on the old list.
Do I keep mailing to the 560 that aren't on my new list? or is that a good way of knowing those 560 are dead leads because they obviously didn't fit my list criteria like it used to 4-5 months ago due to selling, equity $ or %, absentee status, etc?
If those 560 are really dead leads I'd hate to keep mailing to them :)

Hi @Arthur Newman and welcome! Our REI Club meetup at BWW is every 2nd Monday of the month (not the first monday just for clarification) starting at 6pm to about 8ish. I would also suggest looking into the RPOA (see @Account Closed's post above) as they have great resources and training for new and experienced investors.
Post: Scaling up Marketing to Meet Goals

Hello everyone,
I'm at a point where I'm trying to decide if I should go all-in on the marketing half to generate a ton of leads to always keep the phone ringing and appointment schedule full for my new team. I would like to send approximately 5000 postcards, but my current very-targeted absentee owner list gets me up to around 2000 or so. I need to find a way to fill in another 3000, but not sure with what mailing list. Even if I relax my criteria I get close to 3,000, but I don't want to add junk leads for the sake of meeting my mailing quota.
Ideas for other mailers I should try to meet my 5000 mailer goal? I want to mail to as many quality potential leads as possible.

Hey All,
I'm looking to talk with some investor agents (Ex. a flipper/rehabber/wholesaler WITH a Realtors license) around the Phillipsburg NJ / Warren county area. My parents have a property they're thinking of selling, but will need a good rehab. Hoping to work with an experienced agent who can help me know the current market there, source contractors to get estimates, and list the property once the work is completed. Must be able to meet at the property to do walk through. I'm willing to consider hiring said agent as a project manager for the rehab since I live in Grand Rapids MI.
