I am a wholesaler in the Chicago land area and I have been very successful with wholesaling FSBO's and off market properties. I know how it works and I have my contracts in place.

The Question is can someone shed some light for me when it comes to MLS properties. I am struggling to figure out how to deal with the Real Estate agent and if I should use "their" contract. I came across some good deals that I could make a profit on but Im trying to figure out how to approach the sale. Is it the same as if I was buying from the owner directly? Is there greater "risks" for my company to do it this way? I guess im just trying to figure out their process and how to get myself in on the deal without pissing anyone off.

I am not a licensed realator and here is my question: I am in the process of getting my business started as a wholesaler. I speak with a ton of investors who currently have properties under contract. With their permission can I market those properties to my buyers list or am I acting as a broker? I am located in Illinois.

Awesome! I'll be there.

Hey Guys,

My girlfriend and I are looking to move to Florida. The question is we are looking to buy our first property. As i see most people doing is buying a multifamily and renting out one level. Thats exactly what we want to do. Here is the question, I was looking to get my brokers license in IL in order to have access to the mls. Would I have to redo everything once we move and another question, any recomendations on where in florida to move to where the real estate market is good for rentals and rehabs. I know its a little broad of a statement but im giving it a shot. Thanks

I am curious to see how people find their investment properties. Do you get a good agent and work with him? Search craigslist, or drive by. How do you find a house worth checking out. Newbie here as you can see. Thank you

As the title states my question I'm curious to hear people's opinions on this. Do successful investors use zillow as a resource. I'm a newbie looking at properties and would like your input.
