Hello Fellow Bigger Pockets Investors!! I am looking for a Financial Advisor or CPA in the Capital Region (Albany, NY) who can lead me down the best path for using my 401k to buy real estate. I no longer work for the company and will need to move my investment to access it. Suggestions for professionals would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

@D'Andre Byers
I had a conversation prior to getting married and basically said it’s my dream to do this. If she wasn’t on board we could keep our money separate and she can do what she wants financially and vice versa. Fast forward 3 years later and I am in the process of looking for my first property. I wrote up an example of the benefits of buying properties. Starting with appreciation, depreciation, taxes and the simple fact that someone else is paying for it all. Something clicked in her head. I wish you luck. Maybe she will come around. Run the numbers on a example property. Also, have her listen to a few podcasts and let her know how important this is to you. Starting out young is smart. Good luck man! Keep us posted.
