Looking to potentially test the waters out in Alberta, specifically Calgary or Red-deer. as i also have a potential small business opportunity  out there. I would be looking into some type of pre-construction units as a place to park some money as investments for a couple years. 

what areas are up and coming and would be the best place to invest as i am not super familiar with all the pockets. . will rent out or air bnb once units are complete

so i am aware that their are by-laws elimating short term rentals in the blue-mountain area , with strict by-law enfrocemnt , does anyone have any more insight to this or ways around it. or how about if i just did long term rentals / leases . 

i know short term would give better cash flow return but obviously if its against the law i wont be going that route , any info would be awesome

To all my pre-build investors out there in the local Canadian market,

What are your thoughts on pre-builds for a 1-3 year investment and then flipping with assignment clauses or even renting out once built if the market is good.

Any specific areas to look at in Canada

I am located in Ontario , specifically Brampton .

But always have my eyes open and willing to travel.

Thoughts , opinions ?
