Everyone's suggestions here are great. I have J. Scott's book and spreadsheets that you can download for free here on PB. If you want someone to go with you to write up a scope of work and teach you at the same time I would suggest to start going to your local REIAs and see if you meet any GCs there or call a few up and have them write up a proposal for you. Maybe you can barter services to lower the cost.
