Hello all, I have a general question about inspecting a mobile home....Would it be wise to pay for an inspector to come out and check the home out if I'm just going to turn around and sell it or conduct an inspection myself to my standards? ......If so, what are some MAJOR focus points to inspect such as : flooring, roof, plumbing etc?......Thanks for your help!

Welcome Joseph! I too am rather new to investing. This site is great and full of information.
Michael, I couldn't agree more. Unfortunately most people seek their peers approval.. and society doesn't look to kindly upon the guy who lives below his means. Most people want the attention and "so-called" respect that comes along with having nice things. It makes them feel important.. and successful.
I couldn't agree more. I 've been guilty of thinking that way in the past.(keep in mind I was younger and bearly learning about 'reality'). Anyhow, I'm thankful for the mistakes I made in the past because if it wasn't for that, I wouldn't have made better choices later.

I've worked mainly in case management straight out of high school. I am currently a bus driver which works out great because it gives me time to devote to my real estate investing goals..,..Besides all this, I am a self taught artist and that is what I focus on when I need to relax......

I'm sencerely curious.... Is judging a person like this in any way considered discrimination from a legal point of view? I would like to know because soon I will be renting out my own home and well, I wan't to know all there is. I think I would pretty much do the same in this situation.

Again, great advise!....I am currently searching for a mentor and hopefully will find the right person. As far as rehabbing , I am capable of doing alot of work myself and what I'm not able to do, I'm lucky to have a very " handy" father who is willing to do work for me as well as teach me to do things I don't know or need help with. I am very thankful for this site and all you guys for giving me different ideas for achieving my goals. Just what I've been looking for.
