Do you already own a personal residence or not. If not, then this is a good post to refer to for a beginning real estate buyer to understand why it’s so important to purchase 4 units on your first purchase.

A real estate license is good to have a plan on doing multiple transactions… It’s also good if you want to refer buyers to other agents and get paid a referral fee. If you just planning on buying one place maybe to you don’t necessarily need to jump through all the hoops of getting a license.

I would either read reviews online or look for a good lender license in that state and ask for a recommendation
