I bought a triplex recently which was managed by the landlord. He had lease with the tenants under his LLC. Can I use the lease he had after making modifications in the original lease.

@Theresa Harris I have asked for the lease- the prorated rent and the security deposits are already covered in the documents prepared by the lawyers for closing.

In one of the cases, where the property was vacant- the seller offered to list for rent and screen the tenants using his property management company. He even asked how much I wanted to be involved in the process.

This property the tenants are already there 2 have been there for 5 years. I am not sure if I can ask to meet tenants.

I am about to close a triplex soon. Can I meet the tenants before closing?
