@Mark Nolan and @Domingo Santana
Thank you! I have been able to catch two podcasts so far and completely agree: they are wonderfully helpful! Thanks for being so welcoming - I've been very impressed with the BP community!

Wow - thanks for the link to connect with other BP members in my area. I'm excited to dive into that this weekend and start meeting with like-minded people.
I also quickly skimmed your profile and read about Sense Financial Services. I really like your mission there and how that fits with your real estate goals. All the best to you, too!

@Ben Gammon, thanks for the coffee offer - let's make that happen. When you say you're in Northside, are you living there and investing there? Or just one or the other?
I've half-heartedly looked into the Real Estate Investors Association of Greater Cincinnati, but now that I have a house and more of a vision of what I am going for, I want to pursue that with greater intent.
Thanks again!

Hi @Jay J. - Thanks so much for the helpful tips. Looks like I have lots of weekend reading :) I'm also on the east side, so I'll be in touch with you about meeting up. Thanks again!

My name is Natalie, and I just purchased my first fixer upper that I plan to hold onto and rent. I am interested in buying and holding, house hacking, rental properties, and flipping. I hope to buy smart and slowly (over 3-5 years) to create a portfolio of single-family homes and smaller (1-8 units) multi-family properties. I currently work as a business management consultant and would like to do that work overseas in developing countries. I hope that real estate can provide additional income while I am living overseas.
I have been keeping an eye on the real estate market for about 8 months now and learning as much as I can from bigger pockets (my brother got me hooked!) and other online resources. I would like to know more about evaluating a deal, building partnerships with contractors, and seller financing and other forms of “alternative” financing. (Full disclosure: I’m interested in everything related to this new adventure, and I’m driven to learn anything I can!)
Any tips are welcome, and if you are in the Cincinnati area I’d love to meet up with you and soak up any wisdom that I can!
