Wow thanks for all the great information @Chris Carr. I definitely found it useful. I was a little nervous to relocate out there but after reading all the plans I feel a lot better. It seems the city is also very STR friendly so that's great. Seems like population growth and job growth are to be expected. I do have some questions about the water meters, being connected to SCE for power, and the septic systems. What do I need to look out for exactly? What is allowed for Air bnb and what is not in compliance with the guidelines?

Hi there is anyone investing in 29 Palms,California. I am looking into this area because it seems to be the only place with affordable properties. Is anyone else thinking of investing or already investing in this area. I would like to connect and get a little information. Potential for population growth? Job growth rate? Is it just a desolated desert or is there anything cool out there? How are property taxes? Is it hard to find employment?

Has anyone has experience with this type of loan? Also does anyone know if the Joshua tree/twenty nine plans area is cover by their type of loan?

Is anyone familiar with the USDA loans and where I would find a specific lender for that is specific to working with these types of loans. Being that I am a single parent and only work part time I think I would qualify but I am not sure what braver because they have extremely below, low income, moderate, and 38 year term so I am trying to figure out where I would be on the scale.

I have invested in a real estate mentor which was pretty good, but I prefer to work with someone local vs virtually. Any real estate investors in Inland Empire, CA? Greatly appreciated.

That is interesting that is where my interest was to actually pick up a property. What county and state were you doing this in? @Pat L.
