Hello everyone,
I am a new member to bigger pockets. First I want to thank the founders and everyone who keeps this site going great till now. I am gaining lot of knowledge from reading the forums. Thank you all so much.
I am a young guy in my early 30's . I have a credit score of 727. I only earn 24K/ year. I want to invest in real estate. I have been looking for properties to buy and hold and been talking to people about it for few years now. I ran into this lady who has few houses that she is trying to unload. I did drive by two of the properties since they are not too far away from where I live. They are in good neighborhood. She is asking for 20K less than what these properties are appraised for. She is offering owner financing but she is asking for 2% of the whole price for 360 months, which I think will make it a worst investment.
What ideas or suggestion can my bigger pocket family give for me in this situation.
