Hey Brett and welcome to BP.

We just had someone asking about the complexities of rehabbing an apartment building. Glad to have you on the site. This is a great place to read and learn and spread the knowledge that you have.

Tom,

Welcome to BP.

Sounds like you have your plan in place. Plenty of investors on here from your neck of the woods, so you'll be able to get some accurate local advice.

Glad to have you here.

Good Luck,

Jason

Welcome to BP.

As a fellow 36 year old with three kids and a more than 9 to 5 corporate gig, I know how you feel.

This is definately the right place to learn. Everyone here is very friendly and willing to share the knowledge that they have built up.

Good Luck,

Jason

Minna,

I feel for you, and like Mike, I don't have any good advice.

I was stopped in traffic on the Maryland side of the old Woodrow Wilson bridge at about 7am. Guy rear ends me going about 60mph. Fell asleep at the wheel. Proceeded to claim during the deposition that I was driving in REVERSE up I95 and hit him!!! He forgot that he hit me so hard that I had hit the car in front of me. Idiot.

I also think that you should get used to it. The greater bulk of creativity in this country is dedicated to developing more efficient ways for people to sue each other for no reason. There's probably a book titled "Sue Yourself to Wealth!"

Good Luck and I hope you get back in the game soon.

Thanks Josh.

Congrats to Dick and Loki.

I too will wear mine while I'm out working on deals.

I'll send in a picture as soon as I can.

Don't laugh too hard Dick, I need a XL as well. So much for Marine fighting shape. :D

Steve and Dick,

Well said.

As a former Marine I have no issues with what I did. But I would prefer that we (my generation) solve this before it is left to my children. As most of the posters have stated, Islam is not the problem. Its the ten percent who are in control of predominately Islamic states that are creating significant problems around the world.

Steve ... the path that Ahmadinejad is talking about is described in the Quran. I am not Muslim and therefore have no interest in his path. The issue arises from Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's believe that he now has a religious obligation to either convert me to his believe (dhimmitude) or kill me as a heretic. Their mentality measured against the US belief that people can believe what they wish.

My larger concern is that this conflict is just beginning. While DC politicizes the war, the media continues to define torture as shouting at someone, while our enemies are decapitating people on the internet. No wonder the public thinks we are losing.

I could go on for hours on this topic, but I'll drop it off here.

Semper Fi,

Jason
