I guess the questions is self explanatory! :) Do you all think it's worth it to get some type of certification to prove that you are serious about a real estate career? Does this make people more comfortable working with you, as a wholesaler, if you have some type of certification?

Awesome! Thank you! Yes, I'm pretty sure I want to go into wholesaling to begin, then look into further expansion down the line. I already know that I'm doing this for extra income, and then eventually to replace our families income all together! :D

Thanks again! :)

Hi all! I am so very excited about this place!!! :D I don't think I have EVER found a forum so chock full of the information and resources I am in need of! but.. whew!!! I have been reading for a week straight and can you say OVERWHELMED! My head is so full and implementing it all seems like such a challenge.. lol! I'm not sure if it would have been a better idea to just get a clean-cut, step by step wholesaling guide, as opposed to reading my brain into oblivion! LOL! Any thoughts on pulling this all together?? WOW!

Wow, Brandon Turner, the articles you listed were right on the money! Exactly what I needed! One article just leads me into another and another, I am learning so much! I think I'm learning the direction I want to go in after clearing up some misconceptions I had! I'm beginning to think that bird dogging and Wholesaling sound like a fun and efficient way to start! <-- I didn't know those two methods were real! ha! So, it's great to be reading about people's experiences with these two methods!

Hi Marc! I am really wanting to start small! In the Dave Ramsey course (or maybe one of the Rich Dad/Poor Dad things?)... he mentioned investing in smaller things, like trailers and double wide's, that you can then rent out.. but I'm not sure I'm ready to take on the full responsibilities of a landlord.

I read about the investment groups that collectively purchase complexes or blocks of units, and then make those available for members to rent out their units. I liked the idea a little better, since the group hires a management company and you don't have to worry about the maintenance, etc..

Whatever it is, I'll need to start small.. I'm building from the ground up! SOOOO much to learn! :D

The key is, have the right attitude, don't expect things to be handed to you, and be prepared to work hard.

^^^ My life's motto Scott!! :D I get it.. Thank You! :)
