This is all great information. Thanks

Hey all, I have recently been hearing about marketing to tax deliquent properties from the BP podcast and forums. My question is, does anyone have any experience with getting a tax deliquent list from Tarrant, Dallas, and Collin counties? I would really like to here from someone who has successfully pulled or purchased such lists directly from the county.

@Jack Scocchio Do you have any numbers you would be willing to share on your Google adwords campaign? From cost to new leads generated, im sure we would all enjoy reading the numbers. I know I would. Thanks.

Thanks @Brett Snodgrass. I think that relates to nearly all walks of life. Mistakes in our personal ventures seem to humble us as people.

Thanks too @Derrick Houston. I'm going to make a more thorough post with my game plan later today, but to answer your question shortly I am working to find a few good deals of my own. Being as I have no experience, I know this may include me making a fool of myself to a homeowner with my offers. As Brett mentioned above, mistakes are part of learning, so hopefully it can be smooth sailing and still offer some learning solutions for myself. When one of these "motivated sellers" crosses paths with me, I intend on looking for someone who has more knowledge on the closing process to help with the rest. Wholesaling may be of interest to me at the beginning, but truthfully all of my long term goals are just dreams at this point. I really want to put my hands and eyes on these contracts, while getting more involved with realtors and such in our area!

Hey everyone, I'm Nick from Dallas, Texas. After months of reading the forums and articles here on BiggerPockets I have finally decided to reach out to yall's community in an effort to learn more about REI. All the books, articles, podcasts and videos can only satisfy this new found hunger so much before I feel the need to discuss some of my open ended questions with all of you. Hopefully I can make as few mistakes as possible whilst still learning as much as possible from all the resources that BP seems to have just placed in my lap!
