Hey Earnest congrats on your closing. I just closed on a Single Family in Harligen myself. My Realtor also provides Property Management, maybe you can give her a call and she what she can do for you . Carmen Lerma 956-459-9818 , All Star Realtors. Good luck with everything.

@Gilda L. Sauceda Where are you trying to invest in? I just recently closed on a property in Harligen as my first purchase. My agent was super knowledgeable and had my best interest in mind. If your looking at the Cameron County area I can share her info.

Just wanted to shout out to the awesome community that Bigger Pockets has created. I just closed on my first property here in the valley with a tenant already in place. The consistent reassurance I received from the community and the podcast help me accumulate the knowledge I needed to head into this with confidence. Anyone hesitant to get into their first deal I recommend picking up How to Invest Into Real Estate by Brandon Turner and Long Distance Investing By David Greene. Thanks again Bigger Pockets, super pumped to get into my next deal.

Hi Bigger Pockets community , I was born and raised in Brownsville area. Moved to Austin 13 years ago and am finally on board to start my real estate journey. Austin market is out of my price range and looking at investing back in my home town (Single family/Multifamily). If anyone here can give me a reference in the Brownsville, Tx area I would appreciate it.
