What does everyone think about Wednesday (Nov. 6th) or Thursday (Nov. 7th)??? Say 630-830? (Times can also be adjusted).
The company/facility that I work at has a meeting/event hall that we can use.
The address is 23400 Colonial Parkway, Katy, Texas 77494
Let me know which day (Wed/Thurs) and which 2-hour window (6-8) or (630-830) works for you.

Hey Nicholas!
I'm very interested in joining the meetup. I'm pretty open to afternoon or evening meetups. Just let me know when you decide and I'll do my best to be there!
Cheers,
Eric
I have you down Eric. I think the first full week in November (Nov 4 - Nov 8) would be best (for now). I'll find a semi-quite place around 99 & I10

@Simran Rihal, Absoluetly! Now we have three. I'll give it a few more days and if it's just the three of us (You, Me and Matt) I'll find a place for the three of us to meet at the end of the month. Probably somewhere around 99 & I10.
Post: Looking for Electronic Keypad Recommendations for Rentals

Hi fellow landlords,
I’m currently working on standardizing certain items across my rental properties to streamline repair/make-ready costs and tenant turnovers. One area I’m focusing on is electronic keypads for doors.I’d love to hear what brands and models you use for your rentals—whether short-term, medium-term, or long-term. Specifically, I’m looking for keypads that are:
- Reliable for long-term use
- Easy to update/change during tenant turnover
- Cost-effective for maintaining multiple properties
Your input will help me build a database of go-to items I can use across all my properties and help me make more informed decisions when costing out rehabs/turnovers. I really appreciate your insights and recommendations!
Thanks in advance!

I’m Nick. My wife and I are real estate investors based in Katy, and I/we are looking to connect with local investors, real estate agents, property managers, and contractors in the area. I don’t want anything in return—just hoping to network, make new friends, and maybe be of help or value to you in any way.
If you're up for grabbing a quick lunch, coffee, or beer (on me!), let’s meet up and chat! Feel free to reach out if you're interested.
Looking forward to connecting!
Best,
Nick

Hello, I would be interested in a Monthly REI Meetup in Katy.
Matt! Awesome. I'll put you down. Hopefully, we can drum up more interest! I'd like to have 3-5 people, but if it's just me and you grabbing lunch, that's great too!! Two minds are better than one.

Tired of driving 1-1.5 hours to find a solid real estate investing community? 🚗💨 Let's change that!
I'm a (new) local investor based in Katy, Texas, and I would like to start a Monthly Real Estate Investor Meetup—right here in our own backyard! 🏡 Whether you're a seasoned pro, just starting out, or somewhere in between, this is the perfect place to connect with fellow investors, share tips, strategies, and real experiences (the good, the bad, and the ugly!).
💡 What to Expect:
- A space to connect with like-minded investors at all stages of their real estate journey
- Learning and sharing from each other's experiences, whether you're a seasoned investor or just starting out
- Discussions on local market trends, strategies, and opportunities
- Building a supportive network to help each other grow and succeed, whether it’s through partnerships, joint ventures, or simply exchanging tips
Let's build a thriving real estate community right here without the long commute! 🚫🛣️ I'm excited to meet investors of all kinds—wholesalers, flippers, BRRRR enthusiasts (like me), buy-and-hold strategists, you name it!
Drop a comment if you're interested! 👇 I’m looking to gauge interest before locking in a date and location, but rest assured, it’ll be local and convenient. Let’s make this a go-to event for all of us who want to invest smarter, grow together, and stay local! 💼🏘️
Looking forward to connecting with you all!

Your original post has the times from 530 AM to 830 AM (in the morning). Is that correct? Or is it 530pm - 830pm?
