I ran across this website connected investors and I was wondering if anyone has use the site and how accurate is it. We are new to real estate and just trying new ways to locate properties. Please share your thoughts about this site and possibly if there is another site you might recommend.

@Tina Yuan Thank you for responding with your criteria. With our investors we have negotiated a percentage amount for them to be paid back.

@William S. What exactly is a duplex house hack?

@Randall Alan thank you for this advice I like to hear that the renters from Zillow are qualified.

@Sam P. Now this is my opinion due to the fact I do not have a property yet. It might depend on the location of your property but I would do all of them except #1 unless you have a property managment company. I would definitely recommend advertising before your tenant moves out. Also try to do the final walk through with the tenant so there is no issues regarding any damage to the property. Good luck I would like to know what you decided to go with.

@Richard Helppie-Schmieder what is an ideal layout to consider? Just trying to get an idea. I also want to clarify this is different from renting out the rooms in a property or is it the same?

Hello everyone! My husband and I are about to invest in our first property. We have decided our price point, square footage, and the method we would like to utilize to obtain the property. We want to use the brrrr method and then a cash out refi 60% to recoup the money for our investors and leave a little bit of equity for us. My question is what factors should we consider when narrowing down a few zip codes to get started? Also, I am open to other ideas regarding our exit stragety. We are located in Fort Worth and we feel comfortable within a 30 miles radius for our first property. Thanks for your help!
